No resources spawning?

I ran out in to the middle of Nowhere, Lostville. No shacks, or people around for miles... yet there are no resources beyond trees. No rocks, no wood piles, and no animals. Why?
No one could have taken all the resources by now...

If you're too far out towards the edges nothing spawns out there, especially in the Eastern areas.

Also possible that someone had recently come through there, or that you're ghosting.

Yep. If you stray into areas too far from the road, you'll get into no-resources lands (asides from trees). Your best bet would be to try and find your way back to the road, and areas near the road will have more resources. Also, if you're on a high-population server, it could be harder to find available resources. Good luck.

Dynamic resource spawns base on population and random spawn locations throughout the map instead of the predefined areas are coming sometime soon, they are on the Trello.
