Metal VS Stone foundation
I had a stone house, duribility is 500.
Upgraded my home to metal, durability 300.
Why is stone more durable, is metal worse than stone? Which one should i prefer?

I feel your pain, man. Found that out the hard way last night upgrading my doorway to metal. The fact that we cannot revert it bugs me, but impresses me they keep that realism.

Stone is more resistant to explosives, and weaker to tools to break it, While sheet metal is more resistant to tools and weaker to explosives.

Upgrade it to armored. Don't upgrade to sheet metal.

But armored's more of a pain to build now :sadelf: Guess I'll have to establish a better fortification before I start mining the resources.

The bottom line is...they are going to get in and there is nothing you can do to stop it.
