Waterpipe Shotgun Damage
Ok quick question. I played back in rust legacy and stopped for a year, and now im back to playing. I made the waterpipe shotgun and this happend.
A bunch of guys were roaming around my base kos'ing, not really raiding since they had no way of entering. Me and my group went out and started a fight. My friends distracted their archer long enough for me to run up and fire a waterpipe shotgun shell in his head from point-blank range. He didn't die, and I was killed. Of course people will say in the comment he had armor, but the reality is the guy had basically no clothes. He had some cloth pants, not sure if trousers or burlap, and no shirt or hat. Yet he survived a point blank waterpipe blast, but 2 arrows can kill a guy with burlap clothing. One of the people from an ally group later told me he was hacking his way through doors, and even admitted to it. So now I want to know, is the waterpipe really this ♥♥♥♥♥♥? Or could he have had godmode on. If the waterpipe is that ♥♥♥♥♥♥, it definetly needs a buff. Its an early-game gun and should be good, but it should be better than a bow in damage terms.

Waterpipe shotgun is weaker in new version than in the legacy.

Weak enough to not kill someone from a point blank headshot though?

What ammo did u use? The 12 guage slug or buckshot aint to bad

Im talking about a waterpipe shotgun, the makeshift gun with makeshift bullets, nothing fancy.

Well last time I used it was loong time ago, and it didn't kill the person when I shot him back to his head from 2 meters away, but died to bleed couple seconds later.

This was before the multiple ammo types, buckshot could do more damage that handmade shells.

Water Pipe shotgun truly shines with 12guage ammunition. Specifically 12 guage slugs. Handmade shells sux on any gun. I only use handmade shells to fire warning shots.
