about page file in Rust
Greetings, it turns out that recently I finally upgraded my setup and after going from 8GB of RAM to 16 I thought that the page file was no longer necessary, since I usually play on servers with "Medium" or small maps, I disabled it and the game when loading the map ends up closing immediately without exceeding 10gb of Ram in use considering the operating system included, the minimum for the game to work is from 2000 MB to 4000 MB assigned or the game simply closes
Is there a way to avoid using the paging file and make the game use more ram?

there is no reason to disable the paging file, also some games or programs are coded to need the paging file or they wont run.

enable your paging file and leave it set to be managed by windows.

the paging file is an "ancient evil" that slows down the system, no matter how much free memory you have, windows always uses the paging file, slowing down the system and bringing the hard drive death closer.
reduce the quality of the graphics

This, but nothing is specifically coded to only work with a pagefile. That's a transparent process within the operating system which lets it use RAM for things that are necessary.

Honestly, i find it annoying that rust "requires" a paging file to be active, iv,e got 32gb worth of ram here and rust only ever uses 16gb by itself and yet it still throws a tantrum when there is no paging file active despite having far more than enough ram to work with, i'd rather have anny peace of software use up my ram before it should start complaining about a paging file not being active, rust is the only peace of software iv'e ever seen do this, every other game works like a charm with the paging file disabled in windows. my reasoning for disabling a paging file is that hard drives are slow (therefor texture steaming looks horrific) and its not exactly healthy for the read/write lifespan of an ssd.
