Mouse wont look around in game

Updated Rust today and now when i join a server my mouse won't look around in game. I get a mouse cursor over my screen and i can move the mouse around and click on things... like the stone and torch at the bottom. But I can't use the mouse to look around in the game or attack things.

I have tabbed out and changed the sensitivity settings. I am running windows 7 and a standard HP mouse. Please help

lol nevermind... just needed to press tab... open the inventory and then mouse started working

What button do you use for inventory? Otherwise just go through the buttons one by one and it will probably fix your mouse

i found by restarting your pc, this fixes the issue. i think it was caused by a faulty plugin anyway.

I know this is an older post, but i had thr same issue with my regular mouse coming up also and not letting me move anything at all. I found out that my push to talk key (` beside the 1) and hold shift (running like you do 90% of rust) it brough this up. If you hit the same key combination again it goes back to the game. Hope this helped!

Im having the same issue now and tabbing doesnt seem to work, i can look around but my player wont follow the direction my character looks, it just goes in whatever direction with the keys im pressing
