One shot using a Crossbow ?

hey, i was just walking around exploring and saw this guy who then takes out a crossbow and oneshot me ? is this possible i must know ! i had a fair amount of protection on my head a was wearing the riot helmet and the body was wearing the metal armor and a bone armor for my legs plus clothes. i know for a fact that wearing this nothing in the game can insta kill you, but i havnt tried a crossbow headshot so is this legit or hacks ? this is crazy i play on singapore II a facepunch server so no crazy admins or anythign like that. anyone ever got rekt like this ? btw to top it off i had full health

yes its possible, crossbow headshot is major damage - what was your health when it happened?

I think both bow and xbow can one shot you with headshot if full health, riot helmet only protects from melee damage as far as I know.
(Or does not work like it works with Metal Mask and so on)

Pretty sure a riot helmet doesn't protect against ranged attacks, A HV arrow from a crossbow in the head will more than likely kill you in 1 shot.

Then if the only rifle bullet to kill you with a hit to the face is from a bolt action, I would say the others are underpowered.

I dont think that dying from an arrow to the face is overpowered or unbalanced, I think thats about right.

When full health, you won't die from one arrow in the head.
