Buckshot or slug?
Mainly for waterpipe shotgun but also for pump shotgun. Should I use buckshot or slug?

Buckshot is a bunch of pellets inside a shell that when you fire, they spread out as the distance increases.
A slug is basically what it sounds like, a heavy single pellet.
For close combat use buck for more distance use slug.

slug is great.

Slug is more accurate and does a lot of damage to raging nakeds that are out to steal your stuff.

TBH I haven't really used slugs because if I am using my shotgun I am indoors within close range of enemies. So the practical round would be buckshot for indoors. Basically in a nutshell Slug=Distance & Buckshot=Close range. (Although I'm sure if you're a good shot a slug would drop someone close up easily. :dealwithit: )

You can really screw people up with slugs.

In my opinion, and my experience, Slugs seem to go right through Metal Chestplates (not sure if this is still accurate), in essence more damage (the statistic I saw somewhere was 25 Bullet for Buckshot, and 75 Bullet 25 Blunt for Slugs; could still be wrong about this too, just recently got back into Rust). Once shot a guy straight in the chest, went through the plate, and then knocked him on his a**. Never went back to Buckshot after that.
