THIS GAME IS CAUSING MY COMPUTER TO FREEZE?! HELP

So about two days ago i started playing on the new rust, and was running max settings for everything at about 40 fps pretty constant, then the next day i get on, i get into a server, and as soon as i start to walk the game freezes. I alt tab, no responce, i ctrl alt delete and try to end proccess after waiting a minute and it wont work. I end up having to restart my computer. I try getting back into rust again, and while i get back into the rust menu i press shift tab to respond to a message and it freezes again. For the last 2 days i have been trying to deal with this problem ( the update did nothing to help) and it seems when in rust every time i press a button on my keyboard, at the menu or in a server, i seem to freeze, and cant do anything but shutdown or restart my computer. Every other game is running fine, only seems to be happening with rust recently. If you also have this problem or know of a fix, please help me. Thankyou.

I have a high end machine and yesterday I ran the game and it froze immediately, couldnt even kill the process at task manager and even couldnt exit steam.
Had to restart my pc, so yeah dont worry it's not on your end this game is broken as ♥♥♥♥ and they fix it and then brake it again.

sorry to be on genral desccusion but when i go on to rust loads fine takes 3 mins to load but when i go on to any server any it crashes i havnt played the game once ONCE yet so any 1 know how to fix!!!

nah i hardly play any games on here i just have it for home work and ♥♥♥♥ so i just like to have steam whe ni see a good game

Yeah, I'm having the same problem. Crashes after 15 minutes playing. No other game crashes and I have a good PC.

I have a good pc as well.... Even during loadup the client says not responding and i wait for it to respond and load up. Then in game after 30-45 mins it freezes. I have to manually turn of my computer . I see a message sometimes saying that the amd has failed and recovered successfully and at other times it says application has been blocked from accessing graphics hardware. Does this happen to you guys?? The blocking part and the messages. Anyone have this problem still?? Help thanks
