We're working on anticheat changes which should allow you to play on Linux via Proton when complete.

Looking forward to this! IS this work prioritized? Are we likely to see these changes in the next year?

Bumping this - I was pretty bummed to read the post from October where EAC Proton support was being walked back. I 1000% understand not wanting to support another platform. Still, it would be nice to get at least an "EOS SDK Linux toggle" mode for servers that would allow folks with Linux/a Steam Deck to connect to a community server and at least get some anti-cheat protection.

Devs said they will not enable EAC on Steam Deck or Linux machines for that matter.

The dream is over, boys. If you want to play in a Linux Enabled Server come to DeadlockDweebs (EU) or Apocrypha (US).

So do Linux players/owners get refunds?

Why? There's literally no reason not to have Linux support thanks to Proton. Garry himself even helped Steam get EAC to have it work with proton to make this possible; their decision making makes no sense.
