Rust
LOADING SCREEN FPS LAG / LOADING TOO LONG (CALLING DEVELOPERS)
Hi.. I just want you to know that your rust game after that august update i think (the time you changed how your UI menu looks) the game is unstable suddenly crash when you click to much.. and also The loading screen! taking too long! (never happend before after that update & was using windows 8) now i updgraded to windows 10 but i tried the compability to win 8 & 7 still nothing! loading screen is fked up.. i just found i have 1-5 fps when the game loads (loading screen) when i join a server..

but when im already in game i get 40-60 fps??!

NOTE: This never happened before that big update with the new UI menu .. IM ALWAYS RUNNING IN ULTRA 1650x1080p at almost constant 60 fps now it drops too 45 fps but it is okay.. the only thing annoys me from playing the game is the loading screen taking 5 mins.. not like before it takes less than a minute to load

Did you updated your gpu drivers after upgrading to windows 10?

This happend after that new GUI update in the menu .. this didnt happen before.. it only loads for 3 mins back then.. now it loads forever.. with 4fps in the loading screen 1/1600 takes around 10 mins

Hmm, when you get to main menu check from F1 -> System Information if the game is using your actual gpu.

Probably already using if you get good frames tho.

Tried running game in DX9 Mode?

I agree with you. Months before this badly optimized update, I had the game running smoothly at 60+ fps, the game was looking good, the loading menu was not so bad, 1-2 minutes from launching the game to entering a server.

Right now is a mess, the game looks bad, I can't run everything at HIGH, because it will run at 20-30 fps, so I am playing at medium with FPS drops. The loading menu is crazy, launching the game it takes 3 minutes ro load the menu, then another 5 - 6 minutes to load a server. WHAT THE HELL?? SERIOUSLY?

Please, give us more performance. We don't have NASA computers. I can run GTA V at ultra, not this. And when I want to close the game, mostly of times it crashes, or when I want to switch to another thing quickly, my PC lags the ♥♥♥♥ out.

Yeah it is using my nvidia gpu and about dx9 i didnt try it yet... but the problem really is the menu i am sure of it.. like when I am in game.. when I press tab I get mini screen freeze. Mini screen freeze when I open a storage box. Mini screen freeze when I open a stash. Mini screen freeze when I press escape.. and the loading screen is very fragile.. when I try to join a server and it will load the chunks 1/1600 few clicks on the screen makes the rust 'not responding' because it perform my disk 100% in the task manager(also when I alt + tab screen freeze). what should I do about that? is it because the game is badly optimized.

Reading over this whole issue but I honestly believe you have another underlying issue. Mine never shows not responding at any point and loading in Assets is never that laggy but it does go in chunks.

AMD 280x GPU
8320 4.4ghz
500GB 7200RPM.

My friend with an SSD does load in faster by about 20 seconds or so it seems.

yeah maybe.. but i am doubting this is because of rust because i only have this issue after that rust update
ANY DEVS OUT THERE?? WHY YOU DONT REPLY?? THIS TOPIC IS BEEN HERE FOR MONTHS... THE GAME IS REALLY BADLY OPTIMIZED.. IT TAKES ALOT OF RAM AND MY GRAPHICS NOW I HAVE TO LOWER TO RUN AT LEAST SMOOTH WITHOUT MINI FREEZE... THIS IS THE PICTURE BEFORE OF THAT UPDATE http://s22.postimg.org/ksa6r3kdd/2015_06_17_00010.jpg <---MY GAME RUNS IN FANTASTIC FULL GRAPHICS ON.. BUT NOW I HAVE TO LOWER EVERYTHING TO "SIMPLE"...

Yeah i know, i just want to hear their explanations about this also fix if any.. because the game is like been downgraded. And it is our right as a buyer.

I woudn't post any of this if i know at the start the game runs very bad I will accept but the game runs bad after the update.. I am looking a fix because it is very odd.

I just hope, that the next update will be a good one, an optimization update, because right now it consumes a lot of RAM, it is unstable, laggy... with low FPS...

Yes exactly! I just found out it consumes alot of RAM too thats why it mini freeze in game.. but about the slow loading times i am still figuring it out.. absolutely got to do with my HDD.
