Huge lag after playing 10-20 minutes
I join a server, working fine and never lag. But for some reason after playing 10-20 minutes the game starts to lag and making the game unplayable and he doesnt stop. I have to close the game and open it again, but its getting annoying because it could happen 5 times in a row. Is anyone know how to fix this ? Thanks.

How much RAM do you've?

It may be that you run out of RAM and it starts lagging your system because of that.

It should be enough, unless there's another memory leak or you're having loads of stuff going on your comp.

If there's another memory leak then you can't do much about it, probably have less programs running on background while playing rust, close browsers and other additional stuff.

Another possibility could be overheating.

I had this a couple patches ago, manually clearing the game memory helped.

If the game starts lagging badly after a while, bring up the console with F1 and type "gc.collect" without the quotes. It will trigger the garbage collection system which will free up any RAM the game previously allocated but is no longer using. Might not help for you guys, but who knows.
