The jank building mechanics, and continuous removal of clever and powerful building strats
Countless times ive had my build entirely invalidated, because "Can't place due to line of sight", even though im stood in front of it, or "Blocked by X" even though nothing is there
or what about "Placing through rock, and Not in terrain" even though, i can bloody see that it is...
Not to mention small things that allowed small bases to be decently strong...
these days you have to build a literal fortress to stop being raided day 1
There will be an update next wipe that makes building, especially placing foundations, easier. I tried it out on the staging branch today.
As for improvements, I have had decades of FPS games and there is something off with the firearm dynamics. Bullets don't land where you expect them to unless its close quarters. I can't explain it any better, but its not right.
Hunting is pointless, animals just stand there or attack you. If you shoot a dear with a rifle through the heart it should just drop, but they run off ???
It's called the combat update.
The sooner they fix that the better the game will be.
"only a few" lmao
This community, consisting predominantly of little minded toxic kids that never have seen a woman in their lives sitting in their caves.
I think that ruins the servers quite a bit, I would love to see a rise in cost for explosives or at the very least change the build vs raid cost ratio in some other way.
