Rust.exe - Application Error
Hello Ladies and Gentleman

"The instruction at 0xfcde0180 referenced memory at 0x00000002. The memory could not be written" It first came up yesterday... and I don't know why :'(

Alright Ladies and Gentleman.

I found a way(that worked for me). I have win 7 ultimate and I just went to the RUST Compatibilty mode... and changed it to "Windows Vista (service Pack 2)" and it worked... Hope it works for you too.

Go to
-1)Local disk(C) or where ever your steamgames go
-2)Program Files(mine was at (x86))
-3)Steam
-4)Steamapps
-5)Common
-6)Rust
-7)RustClient
-8)RIght click on RustClient
-9)Properties
-10) Compatiblilty
and read on screen instructions

Kind regards

This problem only happens for me when I run rust in DirectX 9, try another option when you press play
