How do I demolish parts of my building?

pickaxes for stone
explosives for metal

the insides of walls are weaker. It takes 6-7 pickaxes to destroy a stone wall from the inside.

Try checking building parts with wooden hammer, hold right-click and see if you've demolish option. (It's only about 10minutes after building it in PvP server, but it may be always available for PvE servers)

Oh, pve is a problem I guess, I play like never on pve. Try what Theefzor wrote.

Because i am new and i need to learn game without dying too fast and too much in few hours.

on a PVE server it might require a command like "/remove"
but if wrist Jockey newbies actually read the info or help, it would be easier
