Memory Leak

I have a pretty bad problem with rust. Memory leaks URHHH. I dont know if its only me but after an hour or so on the game its using all 12gb of my ram and starts to run like utter ♥♥♥♥. i have to open and close the game to fix it and its kinda getting annoying and repetitive, anyone know a fix or is it just the game?

Yes. They have memory leaks problem on Rust. They fixed most of them but i guess some people still get them.

You really should read the devblog every week so you can be up to date on what is broken and what works fine on Rust.

I have 12gb and run out of memory after about 2-3 hours depending how much I explore the map.

Now it does say minimum 8gb and recommended is a WHOPPING 16gb.. so I guess they could just say my 12gb isn't enough ram. However, it is still ABOVE the minimum by 4gb.

That's how memory leaks work, your amount of RAM is fine, just wait for the fix. Follow the dev blogs and twitter for updates.
