Well i guess we are on the same boat but ive passed that now and im onto the asset warmup which takes forever. I solved the Anti easy cheat loading screen by restarting steam

I found a fix.
Go into your computer files
library>
application support>
steam>
profile (not quite sure if it is this) >
steam apps >
rust >
delete expirimental file

Restart rust and steam

EDIT: I however now get stuck on gamemanager setup when joining servers

It's a common issue. What I'd recommend doing is going into your game folder, usually under C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Rust\, then go to the EasyAntiCheat folder, double click and run the exe file as an admin, then a box will appear, click the drop down box and select "Rust" then tick the "Uninstall" circle. Click next then next again. Then once it's finished uninstalling, click finish, then repeat the same steps as I've metioned, except instead of uninstalling it, you install it. It might not help but it's merely a suggestion.

EDIT - However if you ever get an EAC error that would be your fix

There doesn't seem to be an EasyAntiCheat folder. I went through the rust files without luck and coudln't find it

Thats very odd, I'm guessing you've verified the game cache?

It could possibly have something to do with your RAM. Do you you use a laptop or a desktop?

Yea that's plenty, but sometimes its good to maybe put the ram sticks in different slots. I was having issues with basically everything crashing, so I swapped the sticks positions around and haven't any problems since.
I just had the same issue.
I deleted the game content, reinstalled and loaded it, all worked fine again.
