Beware of Scam; " Plz vote this in workshop "
I recently received a random friend request from someone I believe is posing as or has obtained an account formerly owned by either an actual admin or someone doing their best to pose as one my account was set to " offline " and their profile said that they do not contact "offline " people they sent me a message that took them 5 mins to write up asking me to " please vote for my rustoria Item in the workshop " followed by a picture of an item, i hovered over the item's picture and the hyperlink looked fishy, i immediately blocked them and reported the account for spam/phishing. The main red-flag i had was the name was similar to a friend of mine on a different platform and that my account has been set to "offline" for quite some time and the last time i played rust was approx 3 months ago.

beware : Rustoria | _Aqua

P.S if you were actually an admin you would have been able to see that i have less than 2 hours on any rustoria map

I just wouldnt entertain any random message asking for anything whatsoever. Theres no reason for it and has never in my 16 years on Steam happened legitimately. I wouldnt recommend clicking any links for any reason, trading with anyone for any reason or even replying to anybody that you dont know or cant immediately find a reason why they might be messaging you.

Especially the long written out thing is a red flag. He probably just sends that to 500 people and changes two things to make it look specific to you.

(I remember doing something like this on myspace before dating sites and sending alot of girls a big writeup and just changing the name and maybe one thing i noticed about their profile to make it look specific to them and it worked lmao)

If you want, you might even message your evidence to a staff member on the Rustoria discord and let them know. They have some admins that are FP employees or work directly with FP and could possibly investigate them here on the forums/steam.
