Rust
Steam auth gamebanned
Good afternoon, I was banned from growth on behalf of easy anti cheat. Background: last night I played on the pirate server Ower Rust (it is available both there and there). Then today at lunchtime after school I went to bed and in the evening I came in and saw a ban. 130 hours played in growth. I believe that I could have been banned by an anti-cheat because yesterday I messed around in the blocks and was teleported here and there. I ask you to consider the appeal.

Or you got caught cheating and got banned in the ban wave like all the other cheaters?
Is there evidence?

OP your post is evidence.
"Then today at lunchtime after school I went to bed and in the evening I came in and saw a ban"
I’m telling it as it is, you can see from the logs that I was offline at that time.

We don`t care but that ban on your profile looks good. Time to buy new one :steammocking:
This is not an answer, you just avoided the answer. You can answer absolutely everyone like this because you don’t care and you think that your anti-cheat is the best and won’t ban you for nothing.

Thats a poor attempt to try seem legit. Technically any system can ban erroneously but if that would be the majority of cases then this system would have been ditched long time ago. Since most people who get banned are indeed cheaters, thus there is no reason to believe otherwise in your case. Secondly, steam forums are not a place to dispute ban(s).
If this is the official Rust forum, many questions and appeals are opened here. Specifically in my case, you write that you do not need proofs and so on. How can there be a ban when there are no regular proofs? Why doesn't the easy anti cheat system have logs for example? I'm interested.

Because they have logs but for obvious reasons its not made available to public. Getting banned is the proof that system in place has detected something that is not allowed and acts accordingly. If the ban is falsely given, the system lifts the ban.
Steam has a dedicated support system where players can appeal bans, especially if they believe they have been applied to the game. Forums tend to promote community discussion rather than standard problem solving such as ban disputes.

The fact that most banned players are cheaters also has weight.

And thats exactly why you are still banned and nobody believes you.

No it doesnt. Steam support do not have anything to do with bans. VAC bans are issued and removed automatically. Game bans in Valve games cannot be removed by Steam support. Bans like EAC bans are issued and removed automatically and have nothing to do with Steam. Game bans issued by developers have nothing to do with Steam and cannot be removed by Steam support.

Steam support has no ability to ban any one in a game or remove any bans and it has no dedicated support system to remove bans.

Even if it did, Steam has no control over EAC. You were not banned by Valve AntiCheat, you were banned by Easy AntiCheat. You need to send your appeal to them.

This is a forum for grouping and talking about the game. Your thread will inevitably be shut down by mods, saying "Bans issued by the developer, must be appealed through them".

Try your best not to cheat in games, and if you were the very low percent of false banned people, go to the correct place to appeal. This is NOT that place.
