So many times I had a full inventory of good loot, only to die to something random like a bear or npc. The bandit/safe zones have gotten me a few times just cutting through a corner without paying attention. Makes you wonder if the game does it on purpose sometimes.
so then I threw 2x c4 when I went back and found them camping the body
that also has no effect !!
they really are something "special" alright!
and need to be fixed as an urgent priority as it really is game breaking even for me
must be soul destroying on vanilla!
no need to cry
I'm not your parent :)

The wolfes also stay with your body, and if you are primitive you cant get to it.
Putting an arrow in one of them, just makes him run away and come back with a vengeance in mind.
They even jump straith into your base if the door is open :D
I like the added danger. Hopefully when all the animal and npc AI is updated the game will be better? Probably more for pve players. With pvp there's enough to worry about lol.
