Antihack!

I just Headshot some dude with a crossbow and it said Antihack! in the chat it lagged when i shot the arrow and stopped when it hit the dude what does this mean does it mean its saying im hacking or something cuz i got a headshot?

Same thing happened to me today. I was returning back to my base and suddenly a wolf attacked me. I fired the revolver consecutively and then the game lagged for a moment. When it went on, I noticed "AntiHack!" on the chat and died. Didn`t do anything wrong, not even attempted to cheat and have nothing on my computer to cause this.

Nah don't worry, its pretty common for the Antihack message to pop up. Doesn't mean you'll get banned.

I had it happen to me a ton when I accidentally glitched myself between a building cabinet and storage box, just kept saying Antihack! and my screen constantly jumped up and down.

That's very odd. So the game just freaks out when it THINKS there MIGHT be a hack?

Its usually due to something like moving too fast or hitting an object too far ahead. Its the game's fault. Better to have an Anticheat that sometimes messes up rather than just have an ineffective one :P

(believe me, this is much better than Legacy days)
