Is Rust still fun when playing alone

Its not that i dont have irl friends in steam in fact i have 3 who have this game
But theyre all too busy with CSGO
So i bought the game but its still refundable
Is it fun to play solo?without mic?

its not very fun with out a mike people usally kill people who dont have mics and solo play can be quite stress full you can trust me i have 1200 hours in this game

Well its hard to even make it on the game with 4 people because of the massive 10 people clans that now rule offical servers

Well TBH, i prefer playing alone.
Love to build and keep it all in "my"style.

I hate the fact that the game profides to many "damage" items to use to break bases. So logging off and logging back in a couple hours later means base raided by idiots.

But im stil playing.

On a small population server (say, under 50 people at prime time) you can survive ok solo. I'd recommend getting a mic though, you can get one for next to nothing.

You are more than welcome on our server, we have a max of 20 players.
Vanilla no mods, no wipe, unless devs. force one with a patch (thats out of our hands)

i play solo more times than not, and i try to make friends in the server im playing on.
Modded servers are usually more fun solo because it allows you to do more in a shorter time
Vanilla servers are the real experience but are really hard solo

In my opinion i think it's worth it (I play solo).
Get a Mic (Would keep you from getting killed a lot)
Make some aquaintances in servers to help you out

I play alone. It is very hard. Expect to die a lot. But I still find it enjoyable.

Good choice. Unless you're content to play on low pop servers the game is impossible for solo players. Basically all you can do is build big empty bases to try and make the big clans think you have a lot of stuff so they waste their resources raiding your empty base.
