How to destroy your own stone walls?

Hello,

new player here. I am building a house and I reinforced the walls with stone. Now I want to expand the base so I need to tear down some of the walls inside but that's proving impossible as every tool breaks in ten hits and doesn't even put a dent in the 500 HP of the wall.

What can I do to tear down my own stone walls efficiently? I thought the hammer has some sort of "delete" function but this is clearly not the case.

If it's a vanilla server without Oxide mods you'll need C4 if you don't have a shot ton of hours to break it down via other means.
Owners of that server clearly didn't think things through very well.
If it is modded, the command /remove might work. If so do that, make sure nothing is in yer hands and left click on the walls.

on modded servers u can do /remove.On vanila i think you have to destroy it yourself.Altough i think there is short time where you can demolish something after you build it.

Any suggestion on how to build a 500/500 stone wall without explosives? I mean, fastest way? A million stone hatchets? A million stone pickaxes? Rocks? What would have the better chances?

You can use demolish option for short duration after you've placed or upgraded the building part, so you can upgrade it to sheet metal and use demolish option with wooden hammer.
(You'll lose the resources you used to build and upgrade it)

You can destroy it with a build hammer if you do it fast enough. You need to have a build cupboard down to be able to use hammer to destroy it. My server is players with 25+hours on server vote for map wipe unless update forced.Many friendly players on my server. Server has been up a couple weeks and is drawing new players daily. I own the server and it is run 100% vanilla with no mods or add ons. ADMINS do not KOS and do not Raid. You are welcome to kill and raid admins with no consequences or repercussions. You can expect fair treatment from admins.

Does upgrading then demolishing still work? I just tried it by upgrading my wood wall to stone and right-clicking, no demolished option showed up. Or is that because i place the cupboard AFTER i built my base? .-.

The bottom line is that you can't. I asked the question when I started playing because I was looking for an "undo" button basically. More specifically, I trapped myself while building (haha) so I was wondering if you could just remove the stupid wall you just built, and the answe is no. Once something is placed, it is placed. Period. That's why you build with straw first, then reinforce. Once a structure is placed, it is there for everyone, "owner/placer" or invader/stranger, same thing.

It’s not impossible i do it all the time to people that place stone walls the wrong way round, as long as u can pick the back side of the wall it only takes 7 picks, 15 mins and the wall is gone
