Building High not possible ?

Could someone please tell me why when I try to build above around 3 floors all fabrications instantly self-destruct?

I don't read books like the Bible.
So I built the TC and I know it's possible as I have seen insane youtube about high-structures. Does anyone know why this is. Thank you.

It has to do with the building stability. You can sometimes increase stability by placing double-door frames down in any open areas in your base under the area you are trying to build taller. If you build a single 1x1 straight up, you should be able to get way higher than 3 stories. There is a max limit though, somewhere around 6-7 floors I believe. Same thing applies to any shaped building. As long as it is supported underneath.

Some community servers have different options turned on/off for that server. If you're seeing videos of super tall buildings, that specific server might have building stability disabled so you can build as high as you want.
