RUST BUZZING NOISE
im using a maono microphone right now and i get this very loud buzzing noise after using the cassette recorder for a few times... closing the rust game stops the buzzing noise. i was using a generic $3 office microphone and used it to record myself screaming going super saiyan to my cassette recorder (item in the game) and never encountered any loud buzzing noise. how do i fix this?

What other equipment are you using with your microphone? What interface is it connected to?

Sometimes if your mixer/interface is near to your router, it creates a buzzing sound, try to keep the two as far as possible and test that out.

It could be your cables too, depending on what they are and what theyre plugged into and how old they are.

Theres quite a few things that cause buzzing so Id need to know more about the whole setup to go through a checklist.

i already switched to a new usb hub. its connected to a laptop through a generic ethernet with usb adapter hub. my microphone is also few inches away from my speaker so when i use megaphone its so loud and echoing but its fixed after turning the microphone gain volume like the sensitivity (dB) down to normal. also i noticed that when i use the cassette recorder with my maono microphone, i have to press down the voice chat button so it can record successfully, because when i used my generic office microphone to record on cassette recorder, just enabling auto transmit voice on the settings while recording on cassette recorder is totally fine.

i've already tested playing rust again and its been an hour using my maono microphone i also did record again on cassette recorder but not in consecutive times like what i did earlier (recording more than 50 consecutive times). there seems to be no problem at all.

im also playing on modded server vital rust au 10x. my name is GOKU and i prank using the cassette recorder right now having fun together with players at outpost.

i also recall that earlier when i encountered the loud buzzing noise i definitely saw red-colored error messages on my rust game and i totally ignored it thats why i didnt took a screen shot of it.

I've also found out right after the loud buzzing happened, my windows and nvidia geforce driver had updates and i installed them just now, restarted the pc, but this didnt fixed the issue for every time i need to press down the mic button so the cassette record my voice.
