best way to farm bone fragments?

i need around 2000 atleast more bone fragments dont ask why but i use a bone knife on all of the types of animals,is there a better tool for farming bone fragments?

Bone knife is same efficiency than metal hatchet. You can't gather more with other tools ^^
Maybe you need bones fragment to make bones club to raid door who's bad side ?
