Can't get Rust to play

Today I have been trying to get Rust to load up but every time I do it will go too the loading game UI and then freeze on me. Is anyone else having this problem?

Do you have the minimum hardware specifications to play the game?

I had a similar problem AFTER the Game update at 4:30 Eastern US time (worked fine before the update), and a forced Windows update. I Verified the game files, report showed nothing wrong, but on next try, I was able to join a server.

Update: Once again, client keeps disconnecting from server mid-load.

Allocate more memory for the game to use, seems like after the newer update + driver update, rust needs more RAM. You can do this by going into game's properties on steam, then go to general tab and write -maxMem=10000 , if you don't have 16GB RAM at least i would wait for a fix.
