steam auth timeout
well i can't connect to any server it's giving me steam auth timeout, and i've already cleared cache, i've already validated the files and now i'm uninstalling the game, can someone tell me what to do

READ one of the other 10+ threads on the topic, and stop panic-posting .. it is a GLOBAL Steam issue with Steam Authorization servers .. nothing you can fix.

im having the same issues but i havent done any of those options im new to pc and this is the first time its happened to me

There is nothing you can fix. there is NO problem with the Game.

SAME HERE ..its a steam problem, no fix for it, it wont do any good to reinstall the game , ive already tried that,until they fix it we are just ♥♥♥♥ outta luck

Problem is, people REPORT a problem with RUST who can not READ the ERROR CODE .. which literally says "STEAM Authorization Timeout".

I was able to get a server loading up and it took a good 1.5 hours but, just now It loaded me into the server only to kick me out saying disconnected: Timed out lmfao

But the link goes to a site that mis-represents the current situation as "a Rust Outage" .. the site is 100% user-Reports, not any kind of actual technical tracker .. it is Misinformation.

Yes, "expert", because STEAM Authorization servers are down .. it does not matter WHAT server you try to connect to.

Factually incorrect. Both my Client and my Server are working just fine, are "up" and "connected" .. I just can not join said server, because STEAM drops the ball, mid-play.
