Rust won't connect to any server

I was just playing yesterday so i don't get it. Rust now gets stuck at "negotiating connection" and won't let me get in. I read it could be some problem with the easy anti-cheat so i reinstalled, checked it's integrirty and nothing.

Yup, I was just playing a few minutes ago and restarted to see if the patch was live due to the main servers were going down for force restart early and now I cant reconnect to any server

There has been a wipe and you need to update your game.

Was happening to me. Found out it was cause I open Steam by running it as an Admin which for some reason makes the game trip out. Restarted PC and opened Steam normally and was able to connect to the server. Hope this helps anyone else.
