Mouse randomly stops working in rust

Sometimes, for no reason, my mouse cursor will pop up and i can no longer look around in Rust. i can WASD move but cannot type or move around. opening steam overlay and exiting does not work. any solutions?

Press Tab when this happens, it's to do with teleporting and some other things. When you press Tab it will open your inventory and once you press it again it should be gone and you should be fine to walk around.

its a issue with the windows app focus when multiple programs get startet.
some apps u starting in background grab focus and popup but sometimes only the cursor popup but the app keep staying in Bground.
i know about this and tried to reproduce that but it depends on the (loading)status of rust and other app's u run/start while rust is loading(joining a server).
i reproduced it 1 time by accident while i was in queue and opened pokerstars.
a restart of rust solved this problem for me

...but i was able to look arround with 'F', no handicap
just the cursor in the middle of screen ;-)

did u run or load other apps in the backround?
u play fullscreen or fullwindow?

i always play windowed and opening the menu (tab) has worked for me to get my mouse back
