Base design tips to limit offline raids.
Hey everyone, im pretty new to rust, i have been trying to build some solo bases from youtube, however i am constantly getting offline raided. Is there any tips you guys could give me to help me in base design to make it less attractive as an offline raid target?

You are always going to get raided. Some things you can do to limit the chances are to build out of the way and out of site. Try not to build near monuments and busy routes. Always try and build down and behind mountains and hills and keep the base small. If you can find a large wooded area out of the way then leave the trees around your base and cut down ones further away.

You could also try having more than one base. Make them small and in different parts of the map then when you get raided you have back up gear.

If you have watched guides on you tube then you should know how to build to avoid weak spots and easy to raid bases. The only way to stop it is to make it uneconomic to raid but then the base is so big and inviting it will attract raiders because they think it has good loot.

The amount of offliners depends on the server. The higher the gather multiplier the higher the chance of offline. My main tip to you as someone with close to 3K hours is to get your base as close as possible to finished on day one but some main things you need to focus on;

compound (wood or stone is fine)

external tcs (they just need to be one triangle with a tc surrounded with stone walls and a stone roof and only need around 2000 stone for entire wipe of upkeep)

Turrets (only need pythons but if your fancy use bolts)

Hope this helps
