PVE/Private help pls for Rust

I would like my server to be private with a password. I have gotten it from Nitrado. And also no wipes at all. Is there anyone that can help me with this? I have followed some videos and as they work for some they dont work for me. The video may be too old. I would appreciate any help at all. thank you!

As for having a private (remote) server I'd just allow only my IP to connect on the relevant ports. its for my friends too. I would like it passworded but it doesnt seem possible with the Rust servers.

Use this and run the carbon installer not the oxide one
It has a whitelist so you can password your server
It receives regular updates and features

not sure if you can, ask your hosting provider. Dedicated servers you can
