this is the most toxic game ever created. waste of time. you will waste all your time just to die all the time to toxic ppl who attack for no reason at all. Huge waste of time. players kill on site even when you have nothing at all. progress is terrible. made for only the most toxic basement dwellers. respond if you agree. I will never play or suggest this game to anyone ever.

Go ham in PvP when necessary and learn to build. With a properly built base, a solo cannot be easily online raided if they hit shots alongside the trap setups.

Rust is the best game ever made imo, it just isn't easy - and there is no difficulty slider. It's completely dependent on the player. Kind or aggressive interaction, and if aggressive, how skilled are they with what theyre using VS what you have access to?

Progress is slow because a vanilla wipe is 30 days....
It needs to be slow.
& tbh it's fast asf if you learn the game, too fast actually.
There are a plethora of "modded" servers which offer several variations of game progression speed anyways, even if that isnt your preference.

Cheaters are an issue, which is an issue in every game - but Facepunch hates them as much as we do and ban heavy, at least making them pay for it to an extent.

think of it as real world back in prehistoric days, with technology. see someone ya dont know and they acting strange? kill em. ppl not talking when ya talk to them? kill em. someone comes at ya and stops with a axe in their hand? kill em.
know how to talk to people and work together? great, make it alive together and create.

this game is immense. servers are fll all the time. this game makes ya mad and it also creates adrenaline to most player which is why they cont, to play. this game is the reason my "u" key on my keyboard is broken. (i had to copy and paste the "u" letter from the above post.). i only have arond 1000 hrs, bt its still the same for everyone whos played, ya walking arnd with a backpack fll of loot and ya see someone, heart races, start shaking, this game is geni"u"s.

btw game is abt 10 yrs old, and still being modded and still i see players on the servers who are completely new.
