what's the point of cars now?

We getting an attack helicopter that you get for paying scrap. Has a gun mount and fires rockets.

Meanwhile for cars we have to find the car, find the parts, research the lift, research the other parts, build a giant garage, etc and our reward for doing so is getting stuck on a rock because they suck.


It should be the other way around, helicopters harder to obtain, cars easier to maintain.

This is just insane to me.

Attack heli takes 2200 scrap to buy. You can get a car going 15 mins into wipe. Junkyard and ferry terminal have free car lifts where you can modify them and add a lock.

Also, you need an actual gun for the heli, actual ammo for it and actual rockets to even begin shooting them.

Not sure why that even matters. Shooting that gun from attack heli is atrocious and rockets are inaccurate and will get expensive quickly the more you spam them. SAMs counter it and the new homing rockets will also counter it.

To shoot the heli rockets you need to align yourself with the target. It just perfectly reveals your juicy head for everyone in front of you to headshot in 2 seconds lol.

Yeah you sure as hell gonna see a sam site from 200 miles away that's hidden from view behind roof. You aren't seeing it unless you go up high in the air, at which point it might as well be a single pixel on your screen.

Tell me this: does heli allow you to have a portable 4 man respawn point with kits at the ready? No it does not. And no, it's not the same as just placing down a sleeping bag and a stash. You do not always have time to do that + you can instantly die when respawning. In a camper you have some time to breathe.

Does heli allow you to lock it so nobody steals it? No, it does not. Any naked can run up and yoink that straight away.

Does heli stop decaying completely when stored properly? No, it does not.

Can everyone see an incoming heli from 200 miles away? Yes, they can.

Is heli extremely vulnerable to any collisions? Yes, it is. One bump from a random ass mini coming out of nowehre and your 2.2k scrap heli is reduced to dust.
