Rust is one of the most played games on Steam Recoil is never getting changed back. I don't support the change i don't not support the change it just is what it is. If you don't like it then too bad it's just the way things are now.

Yeah bring back the og recoil from 10 years ago.

Remember rust is 10 years old, and ur recoil has not been used for most of that time.
At the beginning rust didnt even use traveltime but hitreg.

I suspect they just had a dev who is super casual and plays with super high sens.
And now that the game got big they noticed how ♥♥♥♥ that was.

Or, at the point where they made bullets fly 300m, they had balance problems, so they made that ♥♥♥♥ ass recoil to correct their mistake. But when ppl still grinded to shoot that on 300m that removed its whole point of existance, and they reverted it.

Trust me, ur beloved recoil only existed for one out of the two poor reasons above.
Never was it supposed to be fun to learn a 300m spray on it.
And as soon as people grinded that out, its whole purpose was removed. So it was removed.

They should work on bullet travel distances without adding ♥♥♥♥♥♥ bulletdrop.
I dont think were even supposed to spray our aks on 250m.

Long time ago, the recoil was basic , and bullets didnt fly as far.
That was pretty neat.

But i dont even care honestly.
All i think myself is that t2 weapons feel weird to play somehow. Ak feels fun, but t2 guns feel a bit like water pistols.
But theyre working on those i believe?

Bring back straf meta and bring back new learnable sprays, but most important straf meta.
Doesn't need to be the same spray, but current random sprays are trash and only enjoyed by people who log once per 6 months.
+ I don't think everyone should be capable of roaming AR.
Either gut it to fit the new meta and make it equal to LR or bring back skill
