What’s being done about ESP hacks?

Does anyone have any good ideas how to counter ESP cheats? It’s up there with the worst of the cheats. The rest don’t seem to last long and get patched, but ESP, very hard to detect.

I can say with a high degree of certainty that absolutely nothing is being done about them. It's not from a lack of trying, either. There's simply nothing that can be done about it.

The only possible solution that I see is to never have the root files of the game. That is to say, everything should be in a protected cloud gaming to never be in control of its files.

I came across the YT channel Camomo_10 by chance. An admin who goes from server to server to ban and troll cheaters. It's crazy how much he can handle it. So much so that I lost the taste and the pleasure of playing multiplayer.

My second idea that I had is to simply play co-op or single player games.

More and more DEVS don't want to embark on a war against cheaters during game development. You're wasting a huge amount of time and money when you get into multiplayer.

I realized that I have as much fun killing bots as real players and above all, I wonder more if the person is cheating or not :)

ESP is the easiest cheat to detect, because the stinky cheater using it, usually makes a lot of mistakes. All you have to do is catch someone aiming directly at another player through a wall or solid object. And then watch them act on it. Walla cheater detected. Then you contact the admin of that server, after that ALWAYS press F7 and report that player.

There is a lot that can be done. The Rust community just has to get fed up with them and start taking actions themselves.Oh one last thing... DON'T play on servers that supports these cheaters. Find a server that actively bans them.

No recoil scripts, Magic bullet, ESP, Always daytime, gonna be one of them, the anti cheat is almost redundant these days , so many Russians and eastern Europeans and Chinese players now hacking with impunity and EAC does NOT detect them. It is destroying RUST. The amount of cheaters in servers is insane, I think you would be very surprised at how big the numbers are! EAC doesn't do enough in my opinion. Rust is getting close to being un-playable, we are not there yet, but it is not far off. All governments should make it law and illegal to cheat in games and if found out via your ISP, carry's a 1-2 year prison sentence. We need to get tough on cheating as it is destroying the gaming infrastructure from within, people will stop buying games in the future as the cheats will be to laden in certain titles, this is when company's start collapsing and being effected in real time at that point. Change is needed fast.
