The arctic suit changes no stats, just appearance for a item that has no skins basically. i suggest that you get more skill at the game (because you keep getting killed by arctic suits) or stop assuming its P2W because it cost money.
Depends on how you assume P2W mechanics, tbh.
For combat, it's not really P2W and offers no camo either, so it's a detriment if you value pure combat ability.
For survival, it stops cold in any biome, will actively *strip* wet status away, which can be shared among team-mates to keep anyone in any kit from going full cold status in the ice and desert night-times. Plus, you can put it on after a scuba trek to oil (in a cold biome), before putting on a kit to make sure you're not going to die from frostbite, before putting your main kit on in counters.
That's P2W enough for me to not understand how it's not just a base item in rust that costs more than the regular hazzy, or reduce the cost *of* a base hazzy and put it in T1.
I own the skin, and I use it like a tool, but it sure is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ useful tool especially in T1 by finding it from crates, and it *should* be free.
Just my two cents.
It's just nice having a 1 piece set for armor to run around with thommies in, until you guys are decked out in metal and AK's later on
Zero. Show me a clip of the Arctic suit making the difference in a fight and I'll give you an award.
With that said, the various stats that DO change dont affect gun play or gun fights or make someone win a fight that otherwise wouldnt.
My god.
You gotta run back home but you hear raid in front of your and your invent is full so you cut by the snow area and it's night time, you're out of heals but you know you can get there quick so you go w/e. At 70hp a guy shows up, you both shoot at the same time with equal skill and gear, you lose.
Reminds me of streamers who got OMG HOW when they land 4 times against a full AK kit while they're prim 40 hp. Unless you're running launch, arctic is a superior option, it's the most logical version to use for general roaming purposes
It might not be an immediate combat advantage, but it can definitely carry people that take advantage of it's survivability at snowy monuments.
Tsk, tsk.
if they have on an artice suit it only helps you instead of your 3 man vs 8 full metals now it 3 vs 8 wearing the same clothing its not p2w. if its pay to win then why you still garbo you feel
Have you ever heard of the snow jacket?
If you failed to put on warm others while roaming near snow, that's on you, not a skin.
But I do appreciate your attempt to justify this ridiculous OPs assertion. Just didn't quite prove that's pay to win, not even close
Every item in the game gives some advantage or disadvantage. That's the whole point of the game.
Are you suggesting we remove cold and hot from a survival game to nerf it into oblivion so we can claim it's all fair and balanced for every player?
The game is about choices. Make better choices and stop trying to split hairs and make assertions that just aren't remotely true.
When you buy exp boosters in MMOs you do pay to win, but you don't beat anyone
Arctic suit make hazie a top tier item in my eyes, along with beach bags.
I have both, I can say it's p2w, you just don't have that min max grind set as a RPer who supports recoil change
