Well he got himself ban, he could appeal if he wanted to clear the Steam ban.

But EAC not stupid, if multiple smurf steam accounts all sharing the same HWID got ban within 2 weeks, as an example - it would look pretty obvious to them.

Telling the guy to change his PC's HWID not going to fix his problems and he will only buy anther copy and new account and get anther ban... terrible awnser to give him as advice.
It was not a terrible answer. They asked for help and I offered help. What they choose to do with it is their business not mine or anyone else's. If Facepunch Stuidos or Valve has a problem with it, they can remove the comment. I don't mind. It's not really a big deal, but a big deal is being made out of this entire discussion that doesn't need to be made into a big controversial debate. If people believe the person is cheating, report them. It's not difficult to do without creating a spectacle.
Help in committing ban evasion. No reason to sugar coat the facts. Then we have you going on about how we are "perpetuating the cheater labeling culture" simply because we actually took a few seconds to see how obviously guilty OP is instead of immediately trying to link him information on how to evade the ban that he claimed to be false. Honestly, im guessing OP is a perfect example of the "false bans" you and your sidekick are always accusing EAC of committing. "Somebody was banned by a sophisticated, state of the art anti cheat... but they made a post on the forum claiming to be innocent? Wow, another false ban, stupid EAC". If a person has been caught cheating so many times that they are being hwid banned... its pretty terrible to offer them assistance in bypassing that ban so they can continue to play (and presumably cheat at) the game. Not to mention irresponsible. Regardless of how helpful that assistance turns out to actually be.

All I was getting at is this would only get him deeper in trouble and possible cost him more money.
What you advised him does not restore the accounts or help him, it only let's him cheat in the future if he wishes to and against EAC rules.

Myself, I think the guy was dodging the Rust ban making new accounts without understanding EAC will just HWID ban every single account connected to that HWID after a number of times.
That or whatever Rust cheat engine he was using was recently added to the detected list by EAC.

HWID ban evasion is very much against the rules to EAC, Face Punch and Steam. And why I said you should not just freely hyperlink in Steam fourms how to evade.

I like to think if this guy was cheating caused him to lose all his skin generating Rust accounts he uses to make cash on Steam Market - good.

There is no way a guy with 6k hours would not keep any ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ he got from playing unless it's an account made to AFK and farm ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ to sell.

So if I make a thread complaining about how crazy the recoil is would you send me some cheats to use?

Having a bright red "game ban" on your profile IS proof of being a cheater. Thats why steam puts it on there, so you will be properly labeled. Whats weird is, why would a person actively contribute to a problem they complain about? You were recently rebuking facepunch because ppl were able to bypass the hwid and keep playing after being banned... now you are assisting convicted cheaters in doing exactly that? Stinks of hypocrisy to me.

I get where you are coming from and i admit i too would jump to the conclusion he was definitely cheating but here is 2 videos to shed some light on to why he may not have been cheating.

This first video is where the guy gets banned skip to 36:50 where the banning process starts and it`s a official server so he gets banned by a dev.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TsZby78KprI

This second video is where he is now unbanned from same server where it looks like he was banned by holmsy because holmsy killed him with rock. He explains what he did via sending messages directly to the devs.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TepxN6YtS-U

So after seeing this it shows we can`t jump to conclusions that players got banned for cheating and it could well be a false ban.

Oh, don't get me wrong, i am 100% aware that false bans exist. Nothing is perfect, especially not software or humans. Since both of those can be a factor in recieving a ban, then i would never try to pretend that false bans dont happen. But at the same time, we see these threads after every ban wave. The accounts almost always follow the same criteria that i got scoffed at (and reported) for listing in an earlier post. Its just insulting to our intelligence at this point for ppl like OP to make threads here, pretending to be falsely banned. Its insulting to the entire community to see other steam users assisting cheaters in commiting ban evasion.

I totally agree with you and what you have said but the only thing i can add to your point is that regular players have to wait weeks for a false ban to be removed, whereas youtubers have direct contact with devs and because they make money from youtube their bans can be removed a lot sooner so it is easy to call cheats when ban is only a day old.

Ya. I understand that youtubers and streamers help to advertise their game, but i hate how much special tratment they get from game devs. In all games.

I agree they get special treatment but when you look at it that for many youtubers it is their only job and rely on it for their income and they get banned unfairly then that is revenue they are losing until they get unbanned,so it becomes a priority that it gets dealt with quicker so they can continue to make a income.
