Also, look at OP's account. Rust and a few free games? Rust and csgo are the only ones with hrs played? Anybody who has admined a rust server would take one look at that account, despite the hrs on rust (which can be achieved through idling easily) and be highly suspicious. Of course, other folks will try to help him bypass the ban, then complain about how easily cheaters bypass their bans in rust...

OP was ban from Rust.
He said he was HWID ban, his account looks like an account he keeps active just to AFK in base or spam chat with advertisements or run a server.

Guy with 6k hours in game and only has frog boots, selling skins?

He probably got ban on anther account and lost this one too.

He did not even claim he was innocent, But aren't they all?

Oh look. Somebody who actually read AND understood my post. Yes, the account is a cookie cutter cheat account. Its possible that OP is innocent, but it isnt likely. Common sense... apparently not common anymore.

Having a bright red "game ban" on your profile IS proof of being a cheater. Thats why steam puts it on there, so you will be properly labeled. Whats weird is, why would a person actively contribute to a problem they complain about? You were recently rebuking facepunch because ppl were able to bypass the hwid and keep playing after being banned... now you are assisting convicted cheaters in doing exactly that? Stinks of hypocrisy to me.

I'm very sure EAC has considered the possibility of buying a PC that's been HWID banned. That's true - if they use a GUID it's 1 in 340282366920938463463374607431768211456 (2 to the power of 128).

There's an important detail missing from you guys though. HWID bans are only given to repeat offenders. Meaning OP over here has cheated and been banned multiple times before.

I never said nor believed anyone was innocent or not. I never made any such claims or statements. That is your fabrication of what you want to see. I said what could be and offered a solution - nothing more or less. I didn't go crawling around their profiles to be snoopy. It's Valve, EAC and Facepunch Studios' responsibility to go crawling around looking for the cheaters, not mine. I'm more busy playing games and I don't work for free.

If the person is cheating, that's on them not me so you need not any examples for me. Maybe what you should do instead of trying to 'set an example for Borg' is report the profiles and set an example for them and others who like to cheat, to not cheat. That would be the more mature thing to do instead of making a spectacle.

You make a very good point and are spot on with solid truth. This game has a very lengthy history of cheats and exploiting. Just recently there was an exploit where you could loot through walls from a horse. This game is overflowing with exploits, has been for a long time.

Well he got himself ban, he could appeal if he wanted to clear the Steam ban.

But EAC not stupid, if multiple smurf steam accounts all sharing the same HWID got ban within 2 weeks, as an example - it would look pretty obvious to them.

Telling the guy to change his PC's HWID not going to fix his problems and he will only buy anther copy and new account and get anther ban... terrible awnser to give him as advice.

It was not a terrible answer. They asked for help and I offered help. What they choose to do with it is their business not mine or anyone else's. If Facepunch Stuidos or Valve has a problem with it, they can remove the comment. I don't mind. It's not really a big deal, but a big deal is being made out of this entire discussion that doesn't need to be made into a big controversial debate. If people believe the person is cheating, report them. It's not difficult to do without creating a spectacle.
