Problem with rust steam drops

I obtain red jacket and then the servers i played says giveitem failed. It's normal? Always on official servers

"giveitem failed" is shown when you're trying to give yourself an item without being an admin, having server permissions to do so or the item name is incorrect. It has nothing to do with obtaining a skin, if that's what you're referring to.

if you got a skin for a gun,item etc you just have to equip it when you go to your crafting 1. search for the item 2. apply the skin
