How old must you be to play Rust?

Dear Gamers. I'm a mother! :)

My son is 9 years old and has autism. He plays a lot... LOL, Minecraft and much moe. Now he wants to play RUST. He cant read nor write.. but he's a quite good gamer. Please advise me, if RUST is too hard core? Too violent? I have seen it resembles Minecraft, because you build you own house.But you are also breaking into other houses and killing? Is it too violent, when you are only 9 years old?
Please help me...

dont make him play that game not good idea. people on rust are most of time toxic. maybe pve server with strick rules and admin.

It is indeed rather violent. It shares a lot of elements with Minecraft, but killing other players isn't cartoony and is more realistic. I suggest you look else where.

Rust is a game intended for mature players. While I was playing mature games back when I was 9, I cannot recommend that you let your son play it. While it does have a few aspects of Minecraft, as with any survival/crafting game, there is potential for much violence between players.

You start off naked (settings can be turned on to blur out dongs), and have to find food and resources to build tools, weapons, and shelter, while trying to ward off bears, wolves, and players that want to kill you and take your stuff.

I suggest that you watch first time gameplay videos on YouTube, as well as raiding videos. That should give you a better idea of what I'm talking about. If he cannot read or write, he's going to have issues with this game regardless. I would not recommend this game for a 9 year old without supervision of an adult, with an understanding of the game. So in your case...no.

Not a game fir any children, People are toxic and you can make something that will take hours to make and have it taken away from you in a second by some toxic teens. Definitly not a good game for a special needs person. This game is terrible if you play alone let alone the fact of people may or may not bully him.

No, and in this game the people is sooooooooooooo toxic, the people can betray another people, the people can EAT another people, the people can kill another people and a lot of this so no.
