IS THERE A WAY TO DISABLE GRASS

I know thet before you was able to disable grass by one command but its seems they removed it out of game, so is there a way to delete some grass file or to tipe a new command it console to fully disable grass.

I need to disable it bc then ill get a lot more FPS, right now its laging a bit bc of all thet grass.

If you know how to disable it pls let me know.

And enable Virtual Texturing if you can! It gives me a 15 fps boost

Doing so can give you a in game advantage other then lagging with a slow computer thus finding some way to disable it is a no no. ;)

i have the same issue with grass
grass is all over the place ive seen this in legacy by bringing up graphics but if you lower graphics quality in legacy all the grass would disappear but now this ♥♥♥♥ that you cant remove grass is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ cause rust is broken and i cant even run it without it crashing or getting 1-20 fps every game i need atleast 30-50 fps if i want to have a good game but only if they made a command to remove grass
every time i get into a fight its in the grass and i get killed cause of fps lag and my pc freezing up lleaving me defenseless

Rust isn't broken, your pc is weak. That's it. Post your specs and I'll see if I can help you, setting your profile to performance helps a lot but if your pc is weak you won't see much performance gain.

Also shadows and grass being forced on is necessary. If you could turn off grass it would be very unfair to those with it on who are using it as cover. Same with those hiding in the shadows.

You can play on Barren map. This map is designed specifically for low-end computers. Grass and some of other stuff are disabled there.
