the one and only rule to solo-play.
It wouldn't be so bad if the thrower was:
Expensive to make
Rare to find (Library)
Cost a lot to run (ammo/fuel)
Damage was reduced on Sheet/ Stone
But as it stands, it's the opposite to each of the points above. It's a total gamebreaking drop.
The throwers haven't broken anything, it's given players not being able to get all the materials for explosives a way to be able to compete with those who can alongside just creating a new method of raiding.
If someone wanna knock down your base, however big it is, they will in one way or another, BESIDES the thrower is something you can COUNTER with the implemented waterbucket if you're online as they go.. If you're offline, well ♥♥♥♥, they found your place and they will get in no matter what as long as they put some elbowgrease in..
Lost count on how many bases i've raided, BY MYSELF, using bow'n'arrows alongside pickaxes, stone and sheet-metal aint squat if you're willing to spend some time and effort..
Basically, learn to hide your bases better or suffer the consequences, with or without flamethrowers.
Yes. Just a bit longer
And You can't repair the walls/doors while it's burning, yet if a C4 damaged your wall, you can repair it/upgrade
that explains why i managed to shoot out 4 stone-foundations using solely a hunting bow a few hours ago
well that and people putting walls facing the wrong way, easy to hack up with a few pickaxes.
last time i checked ordinary pickaxes (not salvaged nor stone picks) dealt 0,5hp per hit to the back of stonewalls, which was literally a few hours ago.
