unknow game file mscorlib.dll error plz help me

when i start rust its crash and says unknow game file (mscorlib.dll)

i did game verify thing and i delete easyanticheat and download it again but its not work??

You probably need to rreinstall the Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015. Doing so should resolve your issue. Uninstall the package, reboot, reinstall it and then reboot and try play again. Below is the link to the installer.

i have visual C++ 2005 redistributable and visual C++2008 redistributable, do i have to delete all of them and then install that Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015 or what???

No. You can just uninstall the 2015 version, reboot, reinstall it again, reboot and things should work again. If not, let me know or contact me.

Ok then the problem is with Rust and Mono. Uninstall Rust, delete all associated residual files and directories, close Steam, reopen Steam, reinstall Rust and try again.

Is it still working for you? Because I'm having the same problem... I was able to play yesterday but only after reinstalling Steam, but this morning it's back to the same error: Fatal Application Exit - Unknown Game File (mscorlib.dll)

I can launch Rust from RustClient.exe but can't play because EAC isn't running. The same thing is happening with 7 Days to Die, so it must be something to do with EAC.

i do this and then its working: close steam then open steam and delete rust and easyanticheat then close steam again and open steam and then only install rust. that worked for me
