Vanilla or Modded?

I would like to start fresh on a server but play solo rather than with my usual group should i play on modded or vanilla ?

Why did you come to the discussions to ask this ? xD, I would recommend Vanilla man, its so much better as its more challenging and you feel a sense of achievment when you build something and get new Bp's. Anyway Good luck!

If you have a lot of time on your hands for gaming, then vanilla, otherwise- modded.

Its a tough choice, vanilla is mercyless and will ♥♥♥♥ you at every chance, ecspecially solo and other players will either be a lot more hostile, on the other hand modded is more relaxed for a solo player (depending on gather rates etc.) but other groups will get resources quicker meaning more C4, rockets etc, but players tend to be more friendly, I would recommend Respawn#2 (for solo players and small groups) for a balanced experience. Vanilla is by far my fave, as I tend to play alone and it does reward well. But it is a real grind.

I just tweaked our server to increase gather and craft slightly as I liked what some of the light modded servers did. Look for things like near Vanilla, or light modded, etc.

I like Vanilla alot, but solo vanilla is hard as ♥♥♥♥. I play solo most of the time on Rust NY x3 server, but Im thinking of going over to vanilla once the XP system is out.
