What is the fastest way to get gun ?

Hi, I played rust couple times and I know slightly how all that things work, but I don't get something. To start producing weapon you have to : Build house, build furnance, melt metal, and build weapon. But for me to do all of that is probably dying 1000 times and starting all over again / It's really big and time consuming process and I will probably fail again. I see that you can use bow etc. - but without weapon u can't raid anyone, U can't defend yourself properly = You will die. That game is giving me conclusion that without friend [that is hard to make In rust] you are done for. So, what is the fastest way to get gun ? (I know, git gud - but it really pissing me off) [Sry for bad english]

The fastest way to get to endgame content is to play in a team/clan.

Else you could farm crates and barrels untill you get lucky.

best thing to do is get to a place where a lot of barrels and crates spawn and just spend the day/night (what ever time your server is least busy) farming them. I did this the other day after established a decent base went out to the nuclear powerplant and spent some where around 4-5 hours just smashing barrels and going thru crates until I managed to find an AK! it wasn't the blueprint but the actual gun itself so now I had to find blueprint frags in order to research it successfully which took another 1-2 hours. I play solo and let me tell you it doesn't matter if you got an AK or a bow getting rekt is getting rekt a good player with a bow can pwn a bad player with an AK yes it helps having an acutal gun but it won't make u unstopable by any means. Anyway want a gun? log on to Sydney 4 when ever I'm on i'll be more then happy to supply u with a Six shooter pistol or an AK just supply me with the materials and I will make you one hell we can even team up if you'd like. see you later.

Go on the roof of the dome , farm barrels and trashes , find BPS, and if you are lucky you can get guns BPS

What about ammo, It needs metal fragments that you can only get from melting them in furnance ?

Furnace is easy to get, kill a few animals with a bow or spear and hit a few trees. Hit a few rocks for sulfur/metal and you're good for ammo. I play solo and I usually run until I find a monument (with a preference for certain ones) and build a 1x2 nearby. Farm barrels/crates for a while while ores are smelting and you'll get bp's and weapons, food, frags etc. Even if you get killed you'll keep whatever bp's you unlocked.
