make a sleeping bag , then your mate press's F1 , type kill and bam he can spwn at your location, or viceversa depending whos going to who

On *any* server you can use the sleeping bag. You make a sleeping bag for 50 cloth (I think) and place it. Hold E and assign the bag to a friend. They suicide by pressing F1 and typing 'kill' into the console window and respawn in the bag you just put down. This should work on *any* server.

Some modded servers have a teleport plugin. They make a teleport request, like '/tpr Typhoontk' and you'll get a message telling you to type '/tpa' to accept and in a few seconds they're waking up next to you.

Some servers limit the number of times you can TP.
