i cant hit trees with my rock :/

im new to rust and i need help, i was able to hit 1 tree but every tree after that refused to be hit.

i dont believe so, the left click works on everything but hitting stuff with my rock

ive tried disconnecting from the server i was on, reconnecting to it, switching servers, restarting the game, restarting steam, restarting my pc, uninstalled the game and reinstalled it...nothing seems to be working :(

are you clicking m1? I had that problem in the beginning because I was holding m1 instead of clicking.

You're either lagging, or trying to hit it too high

i fixed it, it was the mouse i was using after all. i dropped it and it worked fine afterwards lol. im gonna buy a new mouse tommorrow though. im not tryna use a possibly broken mouse. thanks for the help guys! :)
