Any way to know my gender BEFORE buying the game?

Is there any way to know what gender will you play as BEFORE buying the game? Or do I have to buy it, and then issue a refund if I am not happy?

It's random, so no there is no way of telling.. as far as I am aware anyway.

No worries .. It's a constant source of complaining though. My gf wants to be female in game too.. hopefully they'll implement something at some point.. once they've extracted as much media coverage from it probably.

Honestly, the gender of your character doesn't really impact the game at all.
I myself turned into a female character when they added the female models, wasn't too happy with it at first.
But considering it's a first-person game, you barely notice it :p

If you give enough of a ♥♥♥♥ about it you can family share to new accounts until you get the race and sex and penis size of your preference

Gender is not Permanent, it can change with each update..

The community has been asking and crying for a way to pick, so you never know, it may be slecteable at some point.

When the game renders your character it renders all models, male and female, then picks one at random.

I do prefer to play as a female character in games given the option, but when there are all things available and I am forced a choice it feels like a complete turn off from the game.

So I thought if there was a way to know BEFORE I bought the game if my character would end up male or female, since I did read it's based on the SteamID, I would pick up the game if the gender I'd end up with was one I did like.
