Rust
Cannot craft any events items, any longer???
Hello all,
Apologies in advance if addressed already, but I could not find the answer anywhere.
The other day I was able to craft scarecrow outfit, webs, tombstones, coffins, etc.
Today, with all mats I cannot craft any of them even though they are in recipes.
Can someone explain why, or a fix.

Thanks in advance for your time and attention to this request.

Hi Stab,

Halloween has been over for a week, and up until this morning I was still able to craft these items.
Seems like an arbitrary cutoff if it is one.
could it be a bug, or do you know of a definitive cutoff for accessing formerly known event BPs such as "All event BPs will be un-craftable after the 8th"?

Thanks,

Ronin

Rust itself stops the holiday stuff at midnight after the holiday. Theyve been doing this same thing for Halloween, Easter and Christmas on time for quite awhile now.

What you are experiencing is likely the server owner on your server choosing to remove them. Im guessing youre not talking about Official servers, because Ive been playing on 3 all week and dont see any Halloween stuff on my end.

So yeah, if its modded/community, owners can add or remove any items they want using plugins or editing config .jsons to fit their needs.

I know of other games like Weed Shop 3 that continue their holiday perks to give people time to achieve things, but in Rust theres no specific holiday achieves so no reason to do that.

Maybe ask your server staff and see what happened.

Thank you for your time and answers Jacob.
I'm actually playing on Official Xbox Server. As I mentioned, the Halloween stuff was craft-able all weekend, up until Tuesday. (Nearly 8 days after holiday ended) I was pumping out Mummy and Scarecrow outfits in anticipation of the BPs going dark on me.
Sadly I logged in and base was gone...so all my prep was for naught.
I come here to ask questions, because I have more than 15,000 hours playing steam games like rust, dayz, scum, etc....and the STEAM community here is second to none.
As opposed to the toxic communities on console.

Thanks again for your time.
