Game Security Violation Detected (#0000001)

For the last 2 days this has happened any time i launch the game

obviously no cheat software is installed on my computer nor has there ever been but i did use razer cortex's system booster which "cleaned" registry issues
(my assumption as that this is the problem)
how can i resolve this issue?

Restarted PC/reinstalled rust already with no luck

Open Rust in your Steam Library.
Right click on Rust’s list title and then Go to Settings < Manage < Browse Local Files.
Open the EasyAntiCheat folder.
Run as administrator EasyAntiCheat_Setup executable file.
Make sure in the drop-down within EasyAntiCheat Service Setup Rust is the selected game.
Press Repair Service.
After this process verify Steam Integrity Check files

I had this problem before. I just uninstalled the game. Browsed for all the folders that said EAC or EasyAntiCheat. Deleted it, re-installed the game. It fixed the issue.
